Question: can you shoot lazers through metal?
lasers, metal, shoot
Asked by gsebok to Mark on 14 Mar 2014. This question was also asked by stratigist.
answered on 14 Mar 2014:
Yes, so long as the laser is strong enough to excite the atoms in the metal enough to boil off the surface. The surface must not be perfectly reflective also.
p.s. it’s LASER not LAZER. Light Amplification through Stimulated Emission of Radiation.
