Hi nicoleeca2002, I think it was because I wasn’t very quick at doing my work, I had problems with my eyesight so it took longer to read things and write things. We had to write on straight lines and I couldn’t see the lines so my writing would look like it was going down a hill. I’d spend so much time trying to get it straight I wasn’t answering the questions quick enough. I ended up needing glasses and the teachers gave me paper with thick black lines on that I could put under worksheets so I could write straight, this really helped and no-one called me a plodder again! I think there are lots of people like me who need help to be able to process the information so they can then show more of what they can do
